Talk about today's strip, or anything about the comic in general. You can also talk about any of the characters... but don't expect a response. They're FICTIONAL, you guys... sheesh. :)

It was great seeing EDH mentioned, since that's where I currently live! (Also, hi Liz, it's Brian from LTCC!)

So I'm guessing they actually got home by way of Grant Line to Wilton to Dillard which looks about like a 14 mile, 30 minute detour.

In truth, the closed road was sunrise blvd. just north of Kiefer, but I did a little mental thought experiment to see what would happen if Jackson highway got closed on the wrong side of Grant Line. :P

And we would have just taken grant line to scott, and then taken that down. I think that's the quickest way.

Ha. And even a nod to Steve Jackson (either one). This comic works on so many levels. Good work.

It could be worse. It could be northern Wyoming, where there's only one state highway for fifty miles and the GPS loses you every ten.

Or Maxwell AFB, Alabama, where there are only two gates in and construction closes off the highway exits to both, requiring a drive completely through both the downtown area and the ghetto of Montgomery, which is a fairly large city...

And of course, just getting through Atlanta is an adventure on its own.

Ha, Atlanta is easy, just assume that you will have to make 1 extra left turn 5 extra right turns and hit 25 red lights, before being able to turn onto the road that will let you enter a pay by the second parking deck...
