best mile time

I'm just curious to see, seeing as how I ran the mile yesterday and still haven't recoverd yet

I run 3 miles a day. Cry me a river.

Then again, I'm slow as shit-- 28 minutes. I need to get my time down around 24 minutes.

Considering that the world record isn't much below 4 minutes flat, I'd say either you have a chance as an olympian, or you're just full of shit.

1 mile in 13 minutes.

I'd show you a picture of my gaping chest cavity and blame it, but even though it's the size of a crater, it doesn't press on my heart. I'm just a lazy sonofabitch.

I think somewhere around 10 minutes.

Is weird, I'm a great sprinter, I can outrun many people in a 100 meter dash, but since my white blood cell count is 6 times a normal persons, I tend to not have enough red blood cells, and get very tired VERY quick.

7:58, though if I work on it, I could probably get it down to six minutes in a few months. I can maintain about 8mph for a quarter mile if I push myself, but my lungs tend to reinforce their feelings against this activity with fire and brimstone when I do.
If I show up at your door, chances are you did something to bring me there.

Maybe that's what it is. 4 and a half minutes is fairly respectable for a kilometer, but it isn't amazing. I could understand if a few of you were confusing kilometer and mile.

I have gotten it down to 5:53 but I haven't ran like that for a while. I know i can do an 8 min mile even less if i really wanted to, i'm just lazy. Though I do run 3 miles in 20 min maybe 23 min.

i run 3 miles 3-4 days of the week also.

Personally I'd rather walk a mile than to run and pass out when I finish. My personal best was 7:45 back in 7th grade... that was about 5 years ago though. :?

I know for sure I can do at least a 9 minute mile, but since I haven't timed myself in years I don't really know. About 6 months ago I could jog about 3 miles in 25 minutes... I know I can't do that right now though. I'm in the worst shape now since... well, I'm almost as bad as when I used to get my miles timed. :?
