best mile time
I'm just curious to see, seeing as how I ran the mile yesterday and still haven't recoverd yet
"Water is fluid, soft, and yielding. But water will wear away rock which is rigid and cannot yield. As a rule, whatever is fluid, soft, and yielding will overcome whatever is rigid and hard. This is another paradox: whatever is soft is strong."

7:58, though if I work on it, I could probably get it down to six minutes in a few months. I can maintain about 8mph for a quarter mile if I push myself, but my lungs tend to reinforce their feelings against this activity with fire and brimstone when I do.
If I show up at your door, chances are you did something to bring me there.

I have gotten it down to 5:53 but I haven't ran like that for a while. I know i can do an 8 min mile even less if i really wanted to, i'm just lazy. Though I do run 3 miles in 20 min maybe 23 min.
i run 3 miles 3-4 days of the week also.

Re: best mile time
Personally I'd rather walk a mile than to run and pass out when I finish. My personal best was 7:45 back in 7th grade... that was about 5 years ago though.

Time to find out who I am
Looking back to see where I stand
See my reflection change

Re: best mile time
I know for sure I can do at least a 9 minute mile, but since I haven't timed myself in years I don't really know. About 6 months ago I could jog about 3 miles in 25 minutes... I know I can't do that right now though. I'm in the worst shape now since... well, I'm almost as bad as when I used to get my miles timed.
