28/3/11: You Are Not Alone

Talk about today's strip, or anything about the comic in general. You can also talk about any of the characters... but don't expect a response. They're FICTIONAL, you guys... sheesh. :)

Other sci-fi "feel-good" films:

-Batteries Not Included
-Weird Science (It is sci-fi/fantasy)
-Wargames
-E. freaking T.
The problem Greg and I are having is finding great 80's sci-fi that I haven't seen already. I've seen all of those, including Flight of the Navigator and a few others we were listing the other night.

Now, the Explorers started out boring, then got interesting, and then got just plain weird. Not a "great" movie in the least.

Also, keep in mind that I have a pretty good knowledge of classic sci-fi that Greg doesn't have. I guess I'm more of a retro geek.

Also, Rors... I have the opposite issue regarding sex. (Atleast during this trimester.)

Oohh.. I forgot that one. I used to love it.

I know it isn't happy, but have you seen Enemy Mine? Great sci-fi film.

And techically I believe Star Trek 2-4 were in the 80s, but I figured you have seen them :)

Enjoy your free time while it lasts. The first year is utter hell (that you will love and cherish, but still) on getting anything done. My little one is 8 months old and now we finally can put him in a play pen long enough to get a couple loads of laundry done.

Oh yeah, and we did the switch to cloth diapers. Worked out pretty well so far, but we use a disposable sheet in them to catch the solid stuff, but sometimes it irritates him a little. We've got about 6 covers and 15 liners or so I think.

Thank you for someone else knowing this movie. I loved that movie as a kid. That and Monster Squad were two of my favorites from that age of my life.

Loved how the whole thing ran off of an Apple IIc

I've seen Little Monsters but I remember having a hard time getting past some of the "gross" scenes.
