As an Australian, I know that everything is cheaper in America. Which is why I was looking to buy my contacts from an online store based in America. At the moment, the cheapest Australian-based store I can get my contacts (Acuvue Oasys for Astigmatism) sells them for $32.77 a box (fortnightly, contains 6 lenses per box) with $5 shipping. I've been looking at a few American online stores, and they don't seem to be much cheaper than what I'm getting here. Often when they are, it's due to a rebate that you need to submit, and you often only get that when you buy X number of boxes. And that's before you factor in shipping to Australia.
So do any of you guys know of an American online store that I can get a deal better than what I'm currently getting?

Actually when it comes to contacts and glasses, I don't think it is cheaper here. It may actually be a little more expensive. I normally get mine from my optometrist, but when I buy them online I go to http://www.1800contacts.com/.

I don't tend to go with disposeables, I get the monthly contacts six at a time, and THAT costs me about $60-70 for a box of six. One for each eye, it runs me about $240-280 per year, though I tend to stretch mine a little longer than recommended, since I don't wear them every day.
Just buck it up and get the laser eye surgery. Just over a grand, it'll save you tons unless you're only planning on seeing for another few years.
