Parenthood is easily the most rewarding and challenging part of my life to date. I flip back and forth between staring in wonder at my son and wanting to strangle his little ass. Is smart ass a genetic thing or do we teach them that?

Rave: I moved to Florida a couple months ago.

Rant: I've wanted to write one of my long-winded posts about it, but it's really hard for me to put the whole story into words.

Anyway, rave: I was born very close to where I live now and have always loved the Tampa Bay area. I miss the Hell out of Boston already, but I love this place.

Rant: fucking earthquakes. Do you know what wakes up a two year old at two am and leads them to being a cranky little shit the next day? A damn earthquake at two am, that's what.

To be fair that would make me a mostly adult woman pretty cranky as well.
