42

Talk about today's strip, or anything about the comic in general. You can also talk about any of the characters... but don't expect a response. They're FICTIONAL, you guys... sheesh. :)

Or at least the brass to go along with that timpani part.... without the horns you wouldn't have quite the same effect on that line of music....

nah, just the timpani. More is not always better. Unless you are talking about chimichangas. Then it is.
The 21" monitor in comic 9 is half of 42. I don't know of a reference, but I'll delcare it one.
The true 42 reference is to a 42 Gig hard drive. But the 21 is a good pickup, I didn't even realise that until I read your post...

because i am bored and i have nothing to do, i noticed that at the bottom of every comic it says
"RealLife © 2003 Greg Dean"

if you count that its only 21 letters, if u times that by 2 you get 42 letters.(including the ©)

thats my $0.02

This is a bit of a stretch, really. Not the number 42, but an oft quoted phrase (by me) I picked up from the first book. Maybe someone else knows which one I mean?

Demons, Fairie, Girls, Martial Artists, Spanish, Mechas, Boys, Pabst, and Homework. Just your average, ho-hum, run-of-the-mill, freshman year. Except maybe the homework.

Well, I'm a lazy bum so i started searching late in the comic... i was already to that point in the Archives, and didn't want to restart. even though i read the archives like once a week
it took a few minutes to make, but its badass.
