Forget bras that hold guns and long shirts that zap perverts, I'd say a kitten who froths at an excessive rate from the mouth is the PERFECT self-defense\deterent for the lady on the go.
I mean, LOOK at Comic Liz weild that little bastard with such ease. Couldn't you imagine the real Liz brandishing a little kitten, maw a-froth, going "Baaaaaack! Baaack! Back!" or somesuch?
