Neverwinter Nights game.

Post by Satsuki » Wed May 28, 2003 7:20 am

So, I was sifting through my massive hard drive when I came across Neverwinter Nights, a game that I had purchased and installed but never really played. I gave it a try, and guess what? I like it. But it's capable of so much more. So I'm asking, does anybody here play it as well?

Perhaps we can hook up for some multiplayer or maybe even organize a campaign. And with the new expansion comming out soon it should get interesting.

I played it, but once I got my hands on Morrowind, NWN sorta disapeared from my comp, never to return.

/me keeps meaning to pick up NWN. Now that it's down to twenty bucks and he has money, maybe he will.

what do you mean "capable of so much more"?

if you like the way it plays already, 1000's of downloadable modules and new expansions are already guarenteeing replayability.

Fear the halfling thief-sorcerer. My summon iniates the attack, and I always catch the enemy off-guard. Backstab anyone?

Pansy. Your summon would never hit my guy, what with 50 A.C. and all...

50 AC=Hackety hackety hack. No way man. Gimmie your stats and items, and then we'll see.

Besides, what's more cool than an elven ranger dual-wielding two magical longswords? And no, you can't mention anything related to Salvatore.

*cough*Lord Soth*cough*

I'd have to dig around for my guys stats (and probably reinstall NWN, if I even still have my save.), but I assure you he was totally legit.

Pish-posh. Bastard swords do more damage, but attack is lowered.
Opposite with something like a dagger.

I do remember my character was sword and Shield, that helped me out tremendously in the AC department.

I one hit killed an adult black dragon, monkey...with a wizard. Tell me, what do you think would happen to your Ranger? And yes, swords and shields can both be fitted with an awesome AC.
