haha. I figured someone would think that,

Actually, BAMF is the sound made by Nightcrawler when he teleports.. when he teleports, there is smoke and the smell of brimstone, supposedly coming from the plane he teleports through.

Kinda cool really.

*Loads his shotgun and checks the fuel level on his flamethrower* Okay, who's trying to mess with classics?

Seriously though, movies like the Italian Job were great (still watch the DVD), why do people insist on ruining them by doing (A) prequels (B) [Too many] sequels or (C) remake it in a llama-like manner? Well, the answer of course, is to get money, still...

Your points are all good ones, and no Italian Job sequel can ever top the first one, but whether the actual movie itself is good or not remains to be seen.

Keep in mind you haven't any information on it (or at least you haven't posted any, which would be nice because I am really curious) so you shouldn't be judging it yet.

If they use the new minis, I'll be sorely pissed.
Comparing new minis to old minis is like comparing grape juice to wine.

Uhm... did you notice that Mark Wahlberg is in it? Wouldn't that be reason enough?

I believe it is set in LA
Many things against it:
a. It has the New MINI in it
b. It's not in England
c. It's been done before
d. I have read quotes saying that they have removed most of the humour from it
e. No insane car stunts (BMW won't let them do it)

As a driver of a Classic mini, I love this film, and happen to think it's one of the best i've ever seen, I will NOT be going to see the new one, this is one film I really don't want a 'Hollywoodised' version of it
