How did you get into webcomics in the first place?

I was searching for Zombie Jokes, and ended up on http://www.brains4zombies.com, this led me to Jon Rosenberg's "Goats". Goats was running a banner for Machall, and it just went fom there to the 90+ comics I read today.

I got into RL first, because my friend IM'd me about hating france, and was like "This comic is SO you!" and I then proceeded to read it, and the entire archive as well... I guess you could call it an addiction, but I assume many of you are here for the same reason,...

It's about 10 or more years old, and it was done by a group called the Dead Alewives. And I did it before the Summoner Geeks people did. :D

It started in UO... about 5 years ago
One of my friends mentioned something about ImaNewbie. I said "Whos ImaNewbie"? and he was like. "You've never heard of ImaNewbie?! He is like a UO celebrity. He does these UO toons"

So he sent me the link on ICQ, and that brought me to ImaNewbie UO toons! (Using UO screen shots)

After reading that for a while I found links to other UO comics, and one of them had a link to some non UO web comics, and i got the rest through forums and links and such.
And so says Evil Bob, and so it is. ( '')

I, uh, just kinda started reading them one day when I was surfing the net. I think GWTP was my first one. to bad his updates are really sporadic nowadays.

My good friend Tony told me about a comic that his buddy Greg had been doing that had to do with real life experiences and goofy subjects they'd talk about etc.

It all started by an ex-girlfriend making me read Megatokyo forcefully (I swear I didn't want to!).

My ex-fiance is a Sinfest addict and got me to read a few, then I migrated through Keenspot to find Reallife. Got hooked, been around ever since. Now you can't get rid of me! Muhahahahhahaha!

i was at one of those motivational speaker things (yea, i got conned into going, and no, they are hardly motivational) and one of the kids in my group was into anime, we talked a while and he showed me a fewsketches he had done. he also had a few megatokyo and RL strips with him (i dont remember what the RL strip was, but i'm positive the MT strip was the rent-a-zilla one. ) well when i got home he sent me the link to MT and RL, and from there i expanded out to Mac hall, PA, and RPG world, from there, it was following more links to more comics :)

a total of 18 so far that i read frequently :)

When I was a small child, a webcomic killed my parents. Now in my quest for vengance, I have sumerged myself in their world in order to find the real killer.
