Rei wants to know:
What ever happened to the Eva? You drop in a deus-ex-machina that gets no further use. I feel bad for Debbie.
There are so many bad things you could do with that:
Go to Hawaii without flying JetBlue or...
Dig a mountain-side hideout for launching a nefarious scheme to overtake Argentina ... or...
Well, you get the idea. At the very least use it for transportation to a con. You roll up and be like "Yo, homes, check my ph4t ride."
Cheers.

Hey, nice to see a new face. Anyways I assume it got destroyed after it ran out of power. Ya know, you can't fight with something that doesn't run for more than 5 minutes without a power cord...
Why not hop over to the FFRPG project.

First: Tanarin, Mandor, Esoviel, et al. -- thank you, I feel at home here already.
Secondly, in case you were wondering, this is the same Ayanami Rei that posts to slashdot compulsively. I have gained quite a notoriety on a number of BBS, and I hope to continue this legacy.
Thirdly, Greg, it thrills me to get such a prompt reply from the Author(s). I suspected that you probably hadn't gotten around to using it for anything, it is a useful Ace to have up your sleeve, in a manner of speaking. Although Mandor may disagree, I hope I am not forward in thinking you might want a suggestion or two from me about that, being the first child and all.
In conclusion, Real Life is a great comic. Which is funny because I only started reading it because I wanted to get those Free Comic Book Day comics from Keenspot, but I needed to order something first. After my extensive scientific analysis (I asked the dog), I chose "comics for gamers vol 1".
Now I am hooked.
My name is Rei, and I read too many webcomics.

Oh, and one other (minor) thing.
Why was the eva 1000 feet tall? While in practice it is quite funny to flick mecha like "boogers", and Tony deserved to get his ass handed to him (fucking smart guy
), Unit-0 was a mere 40m in height. You know, so you can rip telephone polls out of the ground and use it like a baseball bat... fun stuff like that. So when it reappears, I imagine it won't be ostentatiously grandiose, ne?
Truth be told, I am afraid of heights... 1000 feet = I stay home.

Lune, as I mentioned before, you may know me from:
Slashdot
or perhaps
p0nju.net (specifically the Montrose Academy forums)
I suspect it may be the latter, as it is also webcomic related.
I get around. Almost makes me wish Passport was a viable solution to an online identity. I should post a public key so people can get in touch with me reliably.

Well, then you are even more welcome, fellow geek. How many Linux boxes do you have, and how many distributions have your tried? (I'm not asking your prefered one, since it's Debian of course, rigght?
