Counter-strike, counter-strike. Overall, a solid game, few minor errors that kinda PISS ME OFF, but I can normally deal with those. My main complaints are with the people playing counter-strike. 9/10 servers I join are entirely populated with dumb asses who only sit there and attemp to snipe with the awp whilst I continuously own them with my Deagle sniping. Any time I get more than 10 kills per death, they start accusing me of being a "HAXXORZ" and that without my "HAXXORZING WAZE" they would tottaly "ROXXORZ MY BOXXORZ". The one thing that slightly annoys me is in the fact the people don't realize the usefulness of the scout. Faster firing rate, much cheaper, bigger clip, upper torso to head shot kills. Come on, how is that not good? I guess people don't like having to actually aim at the continent that the person is standing on. Though, overall, I have found myself to be an expert Deagle sniper, though I get bored of that too quickly, so I normally end up ramboing with the machine gun, there was only one last time I played. That's one of those errors that annoys me. The fact is, you would not be able to move and fire a machine gun at the same time. You couldn't even stand up without mounting a machine gun and have anywhere NEAR decent accuracy. Another thing is, as the guy mentioned before, I am running full speed, I get nicked in the back of the leg with the USP, so thereby I automatically stop still. The fact is, with inertia and momentum and everything, even if I didn't move my legs anymore, I would still end up flying forward several feet, or atleast fall over. But no, you just stand there and get shot whilst your guy twitches back and forth. Overall, I don't play CS.

Show me 3 games that have you fall over when shot. I mean seriously, it is a video game you can only make it so realistic before you start to get annoyed. My main gripe with CS is the AWP, nothing short of a .50 would kill you in one hit to the arm or leg, even then the .50 would only kill you from an arm wound due to the loss of blood from losing the said arm. The game says the rifle is a .308, which while it is a fairly decent caliber, it just does not stack up to said .50, or 7.62mm (think thats it). Anyway, if a game is so realistic people wont play it, I mean honestly if you dive into the water and get out you should weigh 20 lbs more because your BDU's and gear is soaked. You should make a squishy noise when wet noise so loud everyone can hear you from a mile away. If you fall and lose HP from it, you should technically break your leg and have to lay on the ground and wait for death. Would anyone want that? no, so the designers have taken some liberty with realism to make the game enjoyable.

Well having a lot of league experience, I will go on to say that the scout is definitely one of the most useless things if you're playing against experienced players. In an ideal setting you would only have to go up against one person at a time in league play. But guess what? that's not the case, try going up against 3 to 5 people at a time. You will be thankful that you can get one shot one kill against an opponent because a lot of times you'll have less than 10 seconds to push back an assault. Additionally, it's not as easy to get a headshot under these conditions, and no, unless they're already injured you won't take out someone in one shot in the torso with a scout. You're better off spending your money on an assault rifle rather than a scout.
If you want me to back up these claims, I'll gladly do so against anyone who says otherwise just as long as the pings to the server are balance.

When it comes to sniping, you might want to reconsider that statement. A number of the RL'ers in the channel will attest to that. If you can find a suitable server where the pings are going to be fair, I'll take you one on one.

wow...
Dmitiri, I have 1 simple, yet necessary question: Have you ever played counter-strike? I mean, really now. That whole post was the biggest load of shit I've ever seen. I'd love to see you get a non-headshot kill with the scout on your first shot. Second of all, a bigger clip? It holds 10, just like the awp... that was brilliant. Third, you'll never catch anyone short of Sunman ramboing with the Para and actually succeeding. My advice: learn to play counter-strike before you judge it. I know that sounds hard, but maybe if you played non-iceworld servers that actually had people with any sort of league experience playing, you'd be crying about the awp, just like the rest of the inexperienced pubbers. GFG.
Lastly, I am open to any challenge you want to throw at me, 1v1, 5v5, your map, your server, whatever you want. You grab that para and rambo me to death, or scout me while I awp you... we'll see if your aforementioned claims hold true.

I know how to play for crying out loud. First off, back when I played, the cout had 30 shots per clip, maybe they cahnged that in one fo the updates, I don't know. I was a very good player, and I never even played an iceworld map. Lastly, I don't play Counter-Strike anymore. I played like over a year ago. I quit shortly after they went back to the orginal names.

If you don't play CS, then don't talk as if you still know the game, and I've been playing since beta 6, there was never a time when the scout had more than 10 shots in a clip. I doubt you were a very good player in the first place since you obviously don't know squat what you're talking about.
So until you show that you're actually up to date on things, don't come around preaching as if you still know your stuff. You're talking as if the scout is still useful when it all actuality it's not.

Then you haven't been playing since 1.5, Had you acutally been playing, you would've known that the assault rifles have had their recoils reduced, making it easier for people to nail the long distance shots, making the AWP less of a whoring gun.
Additionally, the only times I've seen people use the cliche, "You pretty much just have to aim at the continent their standing in" are the same people who are lousy with shooting long distance with weapons such as an ak, colt, sig, or aug.
Like I said, you've stated that you haven't played in a long time, do not talk as if you still know a game that's been updated and changed considerably in the period of a year.
