Smash
Smash
so i went to n8s yesterday and they of watching were in the middle of watching the hulk. i tried to sit in the backyard but the temptation was too much when they were talking about the first transformation in the lab. so i went inside to check it out.
i dont think its that bad.
i still am really excited to see it, i just dont think i should have been watching an unfinished copy of the movie.
the first clue was when the hulk was smashing tanks in the desert, his pants were missing. they kept glitching in and out, so we were treated to a bare-assed hulk running naked through the desert. along with some other glitches and unfinished scenes i was relieved to know it was an unfinished version. i was getting antsy over the chinese percussion mood music of the hulk jumping around monument valley without any noise.
i was thinking that the movie was going to be horrible, no sound effects of him thundering across the desert? i watched the trailer again afterwards and saw that there were gouts of fire left by the cluster bombing. in the movie there was just dirt spouting into the air. one scene even contained an unfinshed wireframe of the hulk pulling himself out of the rubble.
the movie looks like a comic. screens within are shot side by side, some are larger than others, giving it the feel of watching a comic book page. interesting.
i cant wait to see it again.

It wasn't all that great. Acting was crap, and you'll find yourself wanting to see the Hulk smash puny humans MUCH more than Bruce Banner.
SIG TREND OF THE MONTH IS BLANK SIGS BECAUSE I GOT LAZY AND DIDN'T MAKE THE THING AND STUFF.

Yeah. "Puny human" ... But gah, it should have been "hulk smash puny human!". Oh well.

I cannot believe you guys did not like the movie. You have to tell me at the very least that the part where he catches a Hellfire missile and grenades the attack chopper with the warhead rocked on some small level.
I'm thinking this Hulk had a good part of "Intelligent Hulk" in his personality. The "Hulk smash!" green-guy would not have bothered to jump on a jet to save it from crashing into a bridge. He's smart! Just really angry.

Ever watched the old school cartoon version? The chorus of women singing his theme song? The screechy woman bellowing "Isn't he glamorous?".... what the hell is glamorous about the Hulk?
And the lack of movement in the animation.... he takes "one titanic leap" to get in front of the train and the same cloud passes him 10 times
Good times watching cartoons...

I saw the sci fi documentary, I haven't been able to get around to seeing the movie yet, but I like Ang Lee commenting about how relaxing it was to play the Hulk!!!
But, when I first saw that the movie was coming out, the only reason I wanted to see it was because I want to watch the Hulk smash things, and I want to see LOTS of things go BOOM!!!
Lith likes Boom's!!!
