Ragnarok back yet?

Post by Mechphisto » Tue Jun 24, 2003 10:53 pm

Can anyone tell me if Ragnarok Online is back?
And if so, how does one get in?
The english version of their website goes right to a login window with no information about getting/signing on, or a way to get anywhere else.
I found the software, and it connects to their servers and patches, but then of course goes to a login with no info about signing on or purchasing an account, etc.

Any info would be appreciated! =)
Thanks,
Liam

If you read the other thread about RO here, you'll see that you don't have to buy an acocunt to play RO.

Thanks for the reply.

I had looked for threads on Ragnarok, but found basically threads like:
http://www.reallifeforums.com/viewtopic ... 1&start=60

which indicates it's play to play.

Is their a link to a thread, or a site, that explains how one signs up?

Thanks!
Liam

Not that I know of. Of course, I have no intention of paying to play RO anyways.

It is pay to play, and not a good idea either - to quote Mac Hall, "Seriously, apparently Gravity's idea of security is to put a file containing every screen name and password, for their pay-to-play service, in a next to public folder on their web page. Oops."

Gravity's English servers are massively insecure. Most of the time when they get hacked, they drop the server, change the password and put it back up again. Their KOREAN servers, on the other hand, are MASSIVELY secure. This just shows how the perfect embodiment of planning falls to shreds when handed to a team of Americans.

Oh, OK then. Thanks. =)

Hear of "Dragon Raja"?
http://www.go-dronline.com/

I tried the client, but when I try to run it, it pauses a LONG time and finally errors out "could not read file...try again".

Thanks! =)
