Post by mobass143 » Thu Feb 20, 2003 7:19 am

So, i was thinking, (it hurt)"man real life comics is like the funniest comic ever,i wonder what other comics are out there, that not many people know about, that are extremely funny and great (none are as great as Real Life). so my question to everyone...

What is your favorite comic besides real life???
they dont need to be online comics either so just your favorite comic.

Well I have quite a few Online Comics that I tend to read regularly, besides Real Life...

Force Monkeys - (http://www.gamespy.com/comics/forcemonkeys)

8Bit Theater - (http://www.nuklearpower.com)

UserFriendly - (http://www.userfriendly.org)

Elf Only Inn - (http://elfonlyinn.keenspace.com)

Jack - (http://jack.keenspace.com)

RPG World - (http://www.rpgworldcomic.com)

Krakow - (http://krakow.keenspace.com)

Sabrina Online (http://www.coax.net/people/erics/Sabrina.htm ...the main link http://www.sabrina-online.com has been down just giving the ole page cannot be displayed... but today I went to check on it and it has a little note saying it will be back up soon. So for now the mirror site will do. :D )

Penny Arcade - (http://www.penny-arcade.com)

And that is all I can tink of at this moment.. there are others a pop into once in awhile, but these are the main ones.

I started reading Sinfest by Tatsuya Ishida (http://www.sinfest.net) in May 2000 and still read it daily/wonder if he'll ever get anywhere with balancing the resistance with the syndicates.... I actually got the link to RealLife from there about around the time Tony built a Mech and started reading RealLife semi-regularly shortly there after....

As well I also read "?" (http://www.ashfieldonline.com) "The slightly demented comic strip" from time to time when I need a pick up.... and thats great because there never is any reason for each individual script, but they always seem to at a minimum invoke a "bad pun" style groan.

actually i just started reading ranma again after
a few slack off years cause i figued its getting near
the end in america.oh and i started picking up the new alita
series.anything by mahfood.i swear,kevin smith is ok,
but no one is godlike in any field.you all seem to idolize
too much.anyone who rejects something vehemently always
overcompensates by obsessing about another.i used to be the same way.
after you realize there is nothing to be afraid of
nothing can stop you.hate your job?quit.always wanted to write
a book?start typing.have something to say?say it.dont look to
others to do your thinking for you."oh!i like so and so cause he says what
i wanna say"why didnt you try?find an open mic night.join a march.start
a band."say fuck and shit a million times if you want to.you have a voice.
use it!"

Penny Arcade. Been reading it the last 3 years I think.
I also read Residence Life (http://www.reslife.com), mainly because of Beer (their pet squirrel).
Gee, I sure like TV. And wearing pants.

Isn't anyone here gonna mention Beyond the Pixel?! :P

Otherwise, I agree whole-heartedly with FireAza:
