Computer Case: The Search

Post by Brim Mar » Wed Jul 16, 2003 6:56 pm

Im looking for computer cases at the moment. The only problem is, not many companies make plain rectangular cases, no plastic on them, just aluminum and no curves.

Something like: This would be nice, but too bad Lian-Li charges buttloads of cash.

I am searching for a plain, rectangular case, aluminum, preferably something with little to no plastic on it (save for the necesities ie: buttons), and black. If its another color, i'm not opposed to painting it.

Preferably a mid-tower, and with a price tag lower than $100.

If anyone could help me, it would be great.

Aluminum cases for less than $100 are possible -- but you generally need to purchase a power supply to go with them.

Cooler Master, Enertech, and Chieftec all make aluminum cases, and may have something available for you. If you want a decent aluminum case, though, you're going to pay for it.
If I show up at your door, chances are you did something to bring me there.

Well, I am probably going to have to settle for the lian-li case.
