Lara is in problems...

Post by lifedeath » Thu Jul 17, 2003 6:39 pm

Ok i have bought The angel of darkness. It works just fine...except some glinces but i have this problem with the inside human talking. The voices are perfect in the videos and in the in-game videos but when i am atr a conversation it goes so fast that it's funny if it was playable i was gonna get a laugh but it actually ruins the atmosphere :? can someone help me?

The EAX is disabled...(i quess this is the problem but can i override it somehow?)

EAX is only applicable if you have a SoundBlaster card with EAX support. The option should be available in the sound settings, as it is handled per-application.

Failing that, you may want to see if your drivers are up to date.
If I show up at your door, chances are you did something to bring me there.

That won't work with EAX, then. I'll look into this a bit more and see what I can find, though if anyone else has suggestions, they're welcome to post.

if you caught the XPlay review,

available http://www.techtv.com/xplay/reviews/sto ... 26,00.html

youd see that the problems were not specific to you. it's just crappy. oh well.

Actually, EAX is not limited to soundblasters.

My asus p4p800 deluxe motherboard has full eax 3.0 support.
My New Hero is (and I'm a white, non rap listening type guy) Kanye West.. and I quote
"George Bush does not care about black people" - 9/2/2005 - Redcross nationally televised benefit concert for victims of hurricane katrina.
