So I was sitting around with too much free time on my hands, so I decided it was time to create a useful little winamp plug-in.
The dilemma here? They're built in c++, and I do not know c++ (wow, that is a dilemma).
I do however know Java as well as PHP and a few bits and pieces of several other languages.

(<-- That means I don't feel like a complete newb)
So what I'm looking for is a good webpage to learn the basics of the c++ syntax so I can piece together a strong enough knowledge of c++ to actually do something useful.
Any Help, or other suggestions would be much obliged.
Thanks

Here is a good place to start:
Google: C++ Tutorials
But I guese you already tried that so here is some more:
http://www.icce.rug.nl/documents/cpp.shtml - C++ Annotations: "The Annotations are intended for people with a good knowledge of C who want to make the transition to C++."
http://www.sgi.com/tech/stl - Standard Template Library Programmer's Guide.

I feel overrun

But I will blame it on the fact C++ is not my language of choise... C# is.

Heh, blame it on what ever you wish. I'll blame my lack of knowledge in the fact that I'm a hardware/networking guy.

That it is not, it's a swiss+tech mini tool. (Which I carry around in my wallet)
Though...my crimper would make a cool avatar as well...maybe I'll use it for my sig...hrmm.
