I have been suffering from the same problem, Syberius has been trying to help, but didn¨'t mention the dust thing.
Could anyone recommend a good way to clean large amounts of dust out of a machine, one that is guaranteed to do no damage as the machine is not mine.

It sorta looks like the underside of a teenagers bed...Martin Blank wrote:The best way is to get a small computer vacuum. (Note: NOT a Dustbuster.) This is the best way to remove dust. If it's just a small amount, though, canned air is usually sufficient, but remember to use small puffs of air.
And I know it's not my fault 'cos mine is almost dust free, it's also broken which is why I am using this one!

you should have seen the CLUMPS of hair coming out of my keyboard. jesus. i wasted the whole can on it.
and i've got one where all the keys are stuck to the top and they just hit rubber buttons below, so there was no good way to take the stuff out other than that. it was about 1.5 years of buildup, but ... damn.

Go to http://www.sis.com amd look around there...they should have all the updated drivers you will ever need. Other than that, sometimes they will be updated whenever you use windows update (I.E. your onboard sound/video drivers)
Why not hop over to the FFRPG project.
Re: Randomly Rebooting?
I've visited sis.com and was lost almost immediately. I've downloaded the auto-detect program and was provided with the following information..
BTW My friends have commented that the problem might be related to my hard-drive and it being formatted one too many times. Could that be a possible factor?
Any idea as to which file/driver I should be downloading?North Bridge - 648 A2
South Bridge - 963/L A2
SiS Integrated Device
SiS 1394 SiS IDE SiS Audio
SiS USB 1.x SiS USB 1.x USB 1.x
SiS USB 2.0

No. All formatting does is overwrite some sectors with special information.
The page containing all of the drivers specific to your motherboard is here (based on the Belarc file you send me):
http://www.asus.com/support/download/it ... Name=P4S8X
Of special note to you are agp114.zip and siside203_2kxp.zip. Download and install those.
There is a BIOS update also available, but it does not seem to change much except for a modification to the Vcore voltage settings, so it's up to you whether you want to install it. I generally do not update BIOS unless there is a solid reason for it, such as compatibility, bug fixes, and new features.

If I show up at your door, chances are you did something to bring me there.
Alright, I've got the files from him, and I'm looking through them.
BTW, for those that don't want an automatic reboot on BSOD, here's how to turn it off.
Right-click on My Computer.
Select Properties.
Click on the Advanced Tab.
In the Startup and Recovery section, click on the Properties button.
In the System Failure section, uncheck Automatically Restart.
Click OK, and OK again.
One thing I'm wondering about your setup, Jasonr, is whether you have all of the latest drivers, including the latest motherboard and soundcard drivers. I see the nVidia 44.03 drivers are installed, but what I don't see are the installations for drivers from SiS and Creative Labs.
You are my GOD Martin, you freak
