This whole thing is a zoo. I didn't sign the recall, but I plan to help "Terminate Davis" on election day.

What worries me the most about the fragmented recall vote is if Davis manages to get his name on the recall ballot. Last I saw, his lawyers were arguing that he may be recalled, but will still be the "best" canadite.

If he's succesful, he might get recalled and voted right back into office. I really won't want to tell people I'm from California if that happens.

From what the polls are saying, Arnie is in the lead.

And I'm not a Californian Citizen, I'm a Nebraskan Citizen. so..

Hail Arnie.

The state Constitution specifies that a recall target may not run as a candidate to replace himself. The state Supreme Court has dismissed his claim that he should be allowed to run as his own replacement.
If I show up at your door, chances are you did something to bring me there.

And that the recall was against the state constitution.

He didn't argue that the recall was against the state Constitution; it's kind of hard to argue that when the recall provisions are in the state Constitution itself. He did argue that if he were recalled then Lt. Gov. Cruz Bustamante should become governor, but this suit was turned away by the state Supreme Court in a unanimous decision.
