I recieved free Magic the Gathering cards again. It always happens. I just happen to be a female player and no matter how many times I explain that its normal for me to play, there is always ONE SINGLE MALE who hasn't met a female Magic player until he met me. So I get free cards because the male feels compelled to buy me a booster pack. And as I think back on it, I am the only female Magic player that I know. Please, someone tell me that they have met another female player somewhere.

Would you like a pack of Scourge? Or should does the lady like vintage?

And I havn't met a female MTG player, I've known a few that know how to play though.

I know 3 female magic players. My sister, my x-gf and my current gf.

You can always come play with my operator... I don't know any females who play myself, but I barely have enough money to get myself boosters, let alone someone else.

Well, I'm a female magic player, and I know a few who USED to play, but have since quit. That's pretty much all we do on watch here on base, besides making prank phonecalls, of course.

Yeah, I've had tons of guys act simply dumbfounded when they see me playing, and have gotten free cards, as well.

I have seen and know plenty ... the again, I do pass lot of time at the local comic/card shop (the owner is a good friend of mine)

Anyhow, I know a few of the use there ... edge agains the male players.

One get her thong persed and keeps playing with it, and the other keeps putting her ... equipment ... on the table.

The guy's dont know what it them!

Its normally the off-on players of the female side I've met. Alot of players of either gender are like that, they pick it up for awhile, stop, then get addicted again. Its not uncommon, though more often their more into it for the cool artwork on the cards. Not that you can blame them. I've always like the 'Invasion' set artwork myself.

Thats what I tell people Sloth. But it still amazes me anyway. Why? Because, there are other female gamers that I know. I am the only one that gets free stuff. They don't play MTG, but they are still gamers and I still only get free stuff. They have bigger boobs than me.

I do not know of any regular female M:tG players. It is predominantly a male's game here in Tallahassee. Even at the few tournaments I have gone to, there haven't been any women. My ex-wife played a little, only because I did. And I built her deck because she wasn't patient enough.

Of course, a woman would have an advantage if they dressed provocatively while playing in a tournament. Most of the guys who play are the generic "nerdy geek introvert who is awed by pretty women".

The only female magic players I know, are girlfriends of my circle of friends... and there was that scary lady at the eighth edition prerelease last week... but she doesn't count. Scary lady.... ::shudder::
And for the record, I don't see myself as a nerdy geek... but I could be wrong.
