AP Wire
The Associated Press... its where most of the major news orgs get most of their info anyway.

Most of the time, though, I just listen to NPR on the way to and from work. It's a little more non-biased than the other commerical news orgs.

/. isn't actually all that great a site for news. They're an aggregator, and have very few of their own articles, and since they just collect and filter submissions, they're usually a day or so behind other sites, if not more (unless it's something REALLY big :))
If all else fails, use fire.

I use gamers.com or ultimategamez.com for gaming news. The rest, I get in the paper, if I bother to read it. :D

I don't care who's right, who's wrong, or what you meant to say. Only thing I care about is the Truth. If you have it, good, share it. If not, find it. If you want to argue, do it with someone else.

I'll add http://www.newscientist.com to Fixer's list. Good science site.
If I show up at your door, chances are you did something to bring me there.

Here
crackbaby.com
memepool.com

With Crackbaby taking definite priority over memepool.
