I'm completely new to the forums, although I've been reading RL for a number of months. I really enjoy the comic, but have never been a big person when it came to forums. However, as of the past month or so, I've been venturing out.
I didn't have a user on the old forums, to be honest I'm not sure if I even knew there were forums. That's bad, I should have figured - I mean, any decent comic has a forum, right?
I'm a student by day, studying Computer Science, and I like to program in my off-time. Isn't that sad?
I have a blog, but I don't put any real time into it, and I'm also trying to figure out ways that I can support online comics with my spare time, including potentially hosting and/or developing for them. For those of you familiar with TWC, I was supposed to help Fuitad out with the next gen of TWC, and then he fell into the bad situation that he's in.
So, that's me - a Perl/PHP programming freak who reads about fifteen comics a day. I'm thinking of trying to develop some sort of comic surfing web app, that would allow people like me to keep track of what comics I read, but it wouldn't be one of those evil bandwidth-stealers that doesn't show the advertising or anything. It'd just be a faster way than using my bookmarks, while still showing the user the actual comic website. Just out of curiosity, does this sound like anything that anyone here would be interested in?
Thanks, and hope to be around a lot more.

Reading Perl is like reading music. It can be a little hard to get into at first, but once you can read it, it's like food for the soul.

Hello World
Just thought I'd stop in and say hello to everyone. All you really need to know about me is that I have a knack for cheesy jokes and one-liners.
Like what do you get when you stir fry ham?
A fried hamster.

I'm not exactly new, I registered on the EZBoard forum and never came back
Perhaps now that there's a _real_ forum (*ahem*
) perhaps I'll be inclined to stay a bit longer
