July 8

Talk about today's strip, or anything about the comic in general. You can also talk about any of the characters... but don't expect a response. They're FICTIONAL, you guys... sheesh. :)

July 8

Post by Worm » Fri Aug 08, 2003 10:18 am

This has nothing to do with the actual contents of July 8, it actually has more to do with November 2 of 2001... when future Greg tells current Greg that on July 8 of 2003 he'd hit his shin on a cupboard that sticks out. Now i know that wouldnt make a very great storyline, but ive been following the comic for years, waiting (although frequently forgetting) for july 8 2003 to come so Greg could hit his shin on a cupboard. It would have been hysterical for those that have read through the whole archives imo..

anyway, kinda a lame first post, but i thought id let yas know :) perhaps there could be a storyline about the fabric of reality ripping apart because Greg forgot to hit his shin or something. Hey, i know its lame, thats why i dont have a webcomic, but id like to see it happen :)

thats my rant finished

You'd be surprised how many people have e-mailed me telling me that Greg didn't hit his shin. I'm amazed that they would totally gloss over that whole background text thing.

READ THE COMIC, DAMMIT.

I quote (More or less):
"Ah dammit!"
"Dude, you ok?"
"Ya, I slammed my shin."

Hell yeah! That would be, without a doubt, the best damn advertising campaign EVER!
