Yeah, as much as lith hates doctors, she's going to schedule an appointment to see one when she gets back home in september, after visiting the DoL to get her new license.

^.^

Ugg, if lith goes blind in one eye, she's going to have to steal a bishie's eye to replace it! ^.^

Oooh, violet or silver, whata ya think? ^.^

Lith, with your vision getting fuzzy, and as I'm a medical student, I advise going to see your doc. Sounds like an infection.

Lith you might want to see a doc sooner than that. Scar tissue on the cornea can and will cause loss, or partial loss of vision. It can distort eye shape quite a bit. I know....

One possibility that has not been mentioned is that you might have gotten some bit of foriegn matter in it that lodged in the surface of the eye. The body then forms sort of a growth around it to wall it off from the rest of the tissue. *shrugs* This is why docs are useful. We can but suggest things.
It's this bump thing that's on the eye, she thinks, but it's beneath the eyelid, near the bridge of her nose. So lith can't see it, no matter what she does. It might also explain why her vision is getting slightly fuzzy from time to time in that eye. Which sucks, because, best bet is: they'll remove the eye. ;_;
Isn't there a tear duct that is in that same location? It could just be the tear duct she is feeling. As for the dark spot in your vision, get it checked out immideately. That could be something bad, really really bad.
Why not hop over to the FFRPG project.

Go see a doctor now, Lith.

Too bad you weren't in driving distance from me, I'd would've had my dad give you a free eye examination.
Yo Mav, I'm real happy for you and Imma let you finish but Hirschoff had the best sig trends of all time.

Opposite side end of the eye to be a tear duct, Tan. And the bump didn't appear until a week ago, so lith is pretty sure her vision will last until Sep, because lith's insurance will only let her go to certain hospital's at certain places. And she doesn't want to be a bother to her grandparents.

Her dad, on the other hand, she'll annoy until all hell breaks loose! (aka: when her cat gets ornery again. ^.^; )

And, after a thorough search of the web, lith has yet to find anything really mathing her symptoms. Though lith doesn't speak fluent doctor. ^.^;

Some of these site's need fricken translators! :evil:

Nothing worse than one straight on your nose... cause that just makes your whole nose go super nova red and normally hurts.

So... Assuming your insurance doesn't cover emergency room treatment anywhere in the US (I've never seen such a plan), you're willing to possibly risk your vision to avoid burdening your grandparents with a nominal cost that could be repaid in time?

Have you even called the doctor to ask about it, or are you waiting for a few weeks before you even do that? It might be something that an over-the-phone diagnosis and prescription for eyedrops or something could solve with little fuss and no physical visits.
If I show up at your door, chances are you did something to bring me there.

Heh, MB, lith's health plan is carp. Thank the state of washington for that, lith's under her father's state insurance until she turns 21. (they let lith stay on because she's still in school.)

And, lith did go to a doctor about her foot a few months ago, so lith doesn't want to rush herself into stepping foot into another hospital. Hospital's are ICKY!!! ^.^

Oh yes, as everyone was complaning about zits and pimple's, lith looked some stuff up:

Clean your face often. At least twice a day!

Never, EVER squeeze your pimple's. It makes scar tissue, and it also makes the problem worse.

After excersizing, for any length of time, clean your face. It helps keep the pores from getting clogged.

Lith knows this is probably a habit for many people, but don't pick at your face, and don't rest your face in your hands, ever. It also makes the problem worse.

If you're still having pimple problems, try some over the counter medications. Such as OXY, and other pimple creme's. IF that doesn't help.... become a pizza chef. ^.^

Personally I think that good vision is worth any inconvenience or fee that might be generated by a trip to get it looked at. There are few things that I'll go straight to a doctor for, but if it's something that'll mess up my eyes, by Hod I'd get it fixed ASAP.

GO GET THEM LOOKED AT NOW OR I WILL SHOW YOU THAT EYES ARE A PRIVILEGE, NOT A RIGHT! *pulls out a dull stick*
