Just because its not in the dictonary doesn't neccicaraly make it a word.

Not being in the dictionary would be a very strong clue that something is not a word. Slang is often left out of dictionaries until it is very common, but how often does one say "phallus" in normal speech? I use a Collegiate dictionary, which contains almost every word imaginable, and certainly any word you would learn in Junior high.
