I have that Wacom tablet too. ^^
I couldn't afford a big one.

Yeah well that pic makes the case look really messy inside, but it's pretty damn organized. I was gonna get a cathode, but I ran out of money and just said screw it.
Glue, I might be getting this tablet for my birthday. ^____^

Redhat is free, the $40 is for the documentation that you can download for free off of their website, along with the distro.
As for my desk...
HERE is my desk, after a bit of cleaning. On the left you can see my small moose, on the right is my slightly misshapen fox. =)

okay, here we go!

First off, we have a semi-overview of the desk, complete with cat. This is also the only picture with the "GCKO", nuke thing, fatcat and AMD logo on the side. Also, it says "SSnet.Lithium // AMD Powered" on the side (SSnet being our workgroup, Lithium being the computer name). It's just marker, nothing fancy. More on the case later. Also visible are the corner of my UPS (APC Back-UPS, I get 20-30 minutes runtime off it, by virtue of the fact that I use an LCD monitor which use a fraction of the power a CRT uses), my palm cradle (clear plastic), cordless mouse and cordless mouse docking station, my amp (with a rider of Rohan on top), cordless joystick receiver (little black thing to the right of the monitor), couple plastic lizards (and the tail of the one on the monitor), my 5-port switch (with a bobblehead cat on top), cell phone charger cable (next to the switch), my ancient keyboard (with three sticks of old 30-pin DRAM), and a bottle of Sobe Dragon.

Here you can also see the rest of the case (pre-GCKO), and the penguin on top. He's got a shirt (which I really plan to tie-dye), and a hawaiin lei on. His beak is also positioned such that he makes a great sunglass holder.
You can see the 5 speakers there. Two are supposed to go behind me, but there's no place to put them for now, so they're... there. Three of them have space marines on them, two have lizards. The palm (actually a handspring) is visible in this one, as is the headset I use for the mic alone, for things like NS. THe black computer to the right is the house fileserver//guest-computer (Debian 3.0 running KDE, Samba, ATA133 controller, 80 gig drive, over a 100mbps switched ethernet network. I want gigabit.)

Now, about the case. It's a standard generictron-3000 case, nice and cheap. I just drilled larger holes into the front, destroyed the useless metal grate with metal cutters, put new holes and a large fan into it, turned one of the drive bay panels into a vent by drilling holes, adding fans, and turned a 3.5" drive bay into a front-USB panel.

If all else fails, use fire.
