It is a rare occurrence that I call someone by their real name, I use internet alias.
I have tinnitus.
I listen to music 24 hours a day, even when I sleep.
I have a HUGE family, most of which I don't know the names of (but I meet them like once every other year, so who cares?)
I am both nearsighted and farsighted (for which I wear glasses)
Show me a movie twice and I can most probably recite most of the dialogue.
I have broken my collar bone twice, the first time being when I was born.
I have broken my leg once, I spent seven weeks in a wheelchair, after that it was six weeks on crutches. I couldn't run properly for six months.
Alcohol does not affect my spelling or grammar.
I have quit smoking twice.
I quit drinking Coke a few weeks ago just to see if I could. I averaged a liter a day for three years before that.
I am always checking the news online, or reading something.
If I ever watch TV it's for the news.
I have zero interest in sports.
I have about zero interest in cars.
If I'm not challenged in some way at school, I lose interest in the assignment and don't do it (as in, if I am told to do something I find ridiculously easy, I don't do it. Give me something harder and I will).
I hate my father.
I hallucinate every once in a while.
I take long walks at night, preferably in cold rain.
I like freezing.
I dislike heat.
I always have two or three books that I am currently reading. My books-to-read-list is huge.
I never hit girls, even if they are more than my match.
I do not like to discuss my sexlife, which has led to people around me assuming I am gay.

I have an older brother and an older sister. I'm the youngest.
I can work in Photoshop for several hours, then get bored and throw it away.

The fact that I'm posting to this seems to almost imply that I'll do something aside from reading through whatever catches my eye once every month or so. Like, say, read and/or post regularly, here. However...
-It seems more likely that it's because I've been unemployed for five months, and have a lot of time on my hands when not badgering the employment department.
-I started going to college at sixteen. At eighteen, I began paying for it myself. Also at eighteen: I quit my job at the beginning of the summer, and then a recession hit, and I hadn't found a job in time to begin going to school again, so..
-At twenty, I've been fitfully employed and out of school for two years, and am Right About Where People My Age Are Supposed To Be (I Guess), education-wise. Chronologically.
-This situation would not bother me that much except for the fact that I'm diabetic, and on an insulin pump, and have rather high Medical Costs, and at twenty-one I lose coverage under my parents insurance unless I'm in school. This means I have until January to reason something out.
-Unlike a Previous Poster to this thread I cannot blame genetics for my diabetes. My father amd I both have Juvenile Onset (or type 1, or Insulin Dependant) Diabetes. No one else in our family has, as far as anyone can remember. Juvenile onset diabetes skips a generation, when passed on genetically. As such:
My father and I are bizarre genetic anomalies.
-Meanwhile, I join the ranks of people with naturally pointed ears. My baby pictures are truly terrifying.
-I taunt people who wear Fake Ears as bits of Costume with said ears.
-I have yet to be slapped for this.
-When not posting to boards I rarely visited in former times, I try my damndest to make serviceable knives, in the back yard.
-My neighbors do not like it when I run the forge at 4AM.
-I focus on building basic skills and not using power tools. I forge close to shape and do most stock-removal with files. As I'm still Inept, this takes a long time. Just one of the many reasons I will never, ever make any sort of living as a blade smith.
-I do have a thirty-year-old belt grinder my grandfather gave me. Sometimes, when I'm Weak, I use it. It's horribly temperamental, and frequently attacks me.
-Whenever I make something to send to someone, I almost always forget to take a picture.
-I finally have a forge chamber large enough to make an axe head.
-I would like to make a sword, but I know I don't yet have the skill and patience to do so.
-When playing Skies of Arcadia (DC), I got to the Final Dungeon and found that my party was too weak to continue on. Rather than just leveling up somewhere else and returning I started the entire game over again, being more thorough and running from fewer tedious random encounters on this second time through.
-Bought Morrowind, played for approx. twenty hours, put it down for a few months, came back and started a new character, played for approx. twenty hours, put it down for a few months, came back and started a new character, and on and on.
I repeated this process 5 times.
I have never once completed a single story-related mission with any of my five characters.
-I have an unhealthy obsession with Joy Division.
-I am in general a very even-tempered and extraordinarily boring person. Arguably, even savagely repressed. As such on those few occasions when I do become angry I get very angry and am, allegedly, somewhat frightening.
-This makes it a bit difficult to Stay Friends with my now-ex girlfriend who "dumped" me precisely one week before I was informed that I as going to be laid off from work, even though I would like to, as she was my best friend. She did things in a fashion that made me far more angry and hurt than necessary.
-Comparing notes, my friends and I concluded that women really are all the same.
-I'm going to be stoned for that previous comment.
-I stabbed myself in the face with the first knife I ever made. Fortunately it wasn't particularly pointy. I have a very faint scar immediately below my lip.
-I once stepped on the handle of a hoe and caused the blade to swing up and strike me between the eyes in a sort of bizarre reverse parody of a Tom and Jerry cartoon. I required stitches.
-I've cut my left thumb with nearly every knife I've made or sharpened.
-It seems like every person I establish any sort of significant Connection with is somehow related to or obsessed with rodents of some sort. Generally mice, sometimes rats, and never ever nutria.
-I'm fond of nutria anyway.
-Once I start something like this, I have a hard time stopping.
-I once did something that could have killed someone. I didn't recognize that such could have.. occured, until several years later.
-Several-thousand people (or at least a dozen or so) have seen my work, said "Could you make this for me?", and then never mentioned it again after I said "Yes, and for free to astoundingly cheap."

I love anime music, and I collect every album I can find, even if I haven't watched the series.
If I like the sound of it, I watch/read/listen to it. Even if I don't like it, I keep it, and I don't know why.
Because of recent occurences within my own family, I had a mental breakdown which ended in my grandfather busting through the door to stop me from slitting my wrists.
As a young child, I had severe asthma, which was brought under control through accupuncture. I now only get a nasty cold between winter and spring every year.
Once I watch a series/movie/TV show and really like it, I become an "expert" of sorts on it for the next month or so, until I find a new series/TV show/movie.
My room is full of computers. My current machine, my server, and a 486 that is currently in pieces. I also have a mountain of computer screws.
Because of aforementioned condition, I also have a mountain of magazine cover CDs, that I will never get rid of, but probably will never use.
I've lived in Australia for my whole life, yet people tend to think I sound british.
I despise the Aussie stereotype.
People consider me slow, yet I just take note, silently.
I can successfully imitate drunkedness and retardedness to police, and get away with it.
People call me a drama queen, especially my mother.

- i also collect asian/chinese swords and daggers and am looking at getting custom one made that i designed (but importing to australia is a PAIN).. Suruga should PM me

- My sense of humor could best be described as 'WTF'. I often find humor in the most random things, usually making myself laugh for reasons indescribable to others without lengthy diatribe. That, of course, doesn't stop me.
- At any given time my room has 3 bladed objects within arms reach of me.
- I don't smoke, but I have empty packs lying all around my room. I'm just too lazy to clean them up.
- While not a perfectionist in spelling, I come relatively close, usually closely looking over a post and making corrections of varying sorts before I actually make it.
- I have every Dragon magazine back to around #250 or so.
- I own the Dragonball live action movie, the actual DVD, not a download or something.

-One thing that really annoys me is open doors. When i hear a door slamming because of a draft anywhere in the house, i gotta go close it or i go nuts..

-I'm don't do any sports, i eat all i like, i sit on my butt all day when i got a day off, yet i don't get fat. Bless my metabolism
-I'm as average as they get. Nothing fancy about me, nothing special. No weird bodily mutations like some of you elf folk or finger benders or eye twitchers.
-Pop music nowadays annoys me, nothing but r&b on tv and in the charts.
