Thanks for posting this!! I have always remembered watching an animated movie that had a unicorn in it, but could never for the life of me remeber what it was. It was may favorite when i was like 3 or 4, then it disapeared from the VHS's. My mom thought me crazy when ever i would try to describe it to her. It is one of the reasons that lead me to love fantasy and gain friendship with my closest friends. Now i know that im not totally lossing my mind!! :D

You're kidding! I still have the movie somewhere. I thought it was the coolest thing ever! Of course, I found out later my mother hated both that movie and My Neighbor Totoro, but what can I say? I just hope it lives up to the animated version. Live actions aren't always all that great.

So I'm pessimistic. Sue me. You'll get a dime.

actually the block thing I think she may have shown you Unico, which isn't the same but still great. I doubt if anyone remebers THAT anime, it was a kid show/movie.

Hmmm... Christopher Lee's still playing King Haggard... Peter S. Beagle's adapting his book again... great! I loved that book when I was a kid, the film just as much... Even if the music was a bit cheesy...

Still, can't wait for this one! :D

Interesting note: When he voiced the original film, Lee came with a copy of Peter S. Beagle's book, with several dozen marked places he insisted be added back in... guess who won :D Gotta' respect an actor that stubborn who has a resect for literature...

I loved The Last Unicorn

My sister and I loved it and would watch it all the time...but the end made me sad- the only bad part about the movie (I watched it so much I can only watch it every so often due to me feeling sad at the end) She could regret all her life nomatter what she did and she'll live for such an incredibly long time. She'll be sad and the others will have no clue when she regrets.... Poor Unicorn.....

It's a great movie - are they doing all the music in it the same? Or are they just doing it from the book not the whole take from the animated movie

I wasn't born when the movie was made but we have the very first version they put out. My brothers were born but my elder sister and I weren't (5 years later I popped out) Good movie though, America did a good job too ^_^
