I use a mac laptop daily for taking notes in class and I have never had any of those issues

Although I do find a few things annoying... like how much you have to use the mouse, the way the folders are set up, ect. But thats about it.

Maybe old macs were like that, I dunno. Mine is fairly new (About half a year).

hehe! Ok... Linux/Random Unknown OS's (BeOS, Etc) is for the hardcore. PC's the mediocre, and Macs... the worst kind of softcore known to man.

Just because of the lack of pro mac, gotta say...

I love my mac. Its only crashed once or twice in the 9 months I have had it.
WAY easier to use that to transfer between my digital camera and my mp3 player then windows is (Trust me i've tried)

Certain interface features of a mac I do not like, and limitations are annoying, thus I would not want to use ONLY a mac but i would want a mac as a secondary computer more then I would want a PC.





Of course this is all using OSX. I hated all the mac OS's before OSX with a passion.
