I can see not bothering if there's no traffic. But my route home, I'll come to a stop at a busy 4-way intersection, and bikes just blaze on through.

The most fun way to piss of assholes who drive glued to the back of your car is to drive exactly as fast as the speedlimit says. And if that someone tries to go past you, just speed up so that they are forced to follow you arround. The most annoying thing is that some people really can't keep a good distance, as if their driving right there behind me would make me speed up.

I know that, in the past, when someone accelerates when I attempt to pass them, I cause my car to lurch in their general direction. It usually motivates them to back off and let me pass and not be so much of an asshole. My car is not pretty and if it gets banged up I will not be concerned. Apparently the assholes usually do care about their cars.

During the day, I'll flip my headlights on so they think my tail lights are my brake lights, then put on the gas a little to get up ahead of them. Or.. I'll just slam my brakes on to give them a scare. They usually stay WELL behind after that.

Fixer: Well, I'm aggressive to. And here, if you'd bang my car when passing, you'd pay. So, the problem would be yours. And I speed up before they are right next to me. Usually I'd put the second gear in, just to make sure you don't get past me.
