Wouldnt it be cool

Talk about today's strip, or anything about the comic in general. You can also talk about any of the characters... but don't expect a response. They're FICTIONAL, you guys... sheesh. :)

If you have access to email, it means you would have access to the internet. Which would mean even if you got the comic in your email, it would be much faster to type in the address (let alone click a favorite or link if you have one).

Are you really that pathetically lazy? That typing an address into your web browser is THAT difficult. As for, loading the site on weekends, the comics are dated clearly at the top, they've even got a writing out day.

I think it's just the fact that he wants to see the comic and waits for it to updated and so refreshes. I can see the logic in his question, instead of having the comic emailed, just an notification that it's been updated, but that'd be kinda a pain in the butt for the artist. With me, I check it on my lunch break from work every day, and if I feel I missed one, then I just go to the Previous comic to see if I have...

NO!

hmm...but wait....*pulls out sign reading: Real Life emailed daily! only $50 a day!

don't worry Greg, I'll just keep 10%. You can have the rest.

Any takers??? If so, would you be interested in a copper Abraham Lincoln portrait for the low low price of $19.95?

I used to have many keenspot comics sent to me by email. I have since stopped the practice and have lists I visit regularly. The email generated was... excessive.

So instead you want to check your email 20 times before the comic is up? How hard is it to remember that the comic is updated at midnight (atleast I think its that, I've never actually stayed up that late on a night its updated) pacific time on monday through friday?

I'm just going to come out and say it. Personally I think the idea is retarded. Its a waste of time on Gregs part to set up a system that will email you updates and/or when it is updated. If you are so lazy that you dont want to have to check to see if its updated or so impatient that you must read the comic withing 2 minutes of it being posted, you have problems.

visa, There's something I want you to do. See that thing over there? that's called a "door". that shiney thing on it is called a "knob" if you turn that you can open the door. Now, I'm not sure exactly where in your house you are, but if you open other "doors" you will eventually find the "outside". You'll know what it is because it's infinitely bigger than any of the other rooms.

Try going into this "outside" every once in a while. I know it looks scary, but it really isn't all that bad. Soon you'll be less interested in things like when a web comic updates and more interested in things like *gasp* girls!

Don't worry, girls don't bite... or at least most of them don't, and of those who do, it's a good thing. Trust me.
