ive been good friends with a few dealers around here.. 1/4 is like 30 bux.. 35 n 40 if youre a sucker.. ive got OZs for 70 bux, but mostly they run 90, for decent stuff.. not magicmagicgoodgood, but not schwag either... depends on where ya live i guess...mind you this was like a yr an a half ago so...

Okay, I don't know where you guys are getting it from...I've been out of the trade for a couple of years but I paid (I realize I had decent connections and had to go to some pretty seedy places) $250 for a qp of some decent stuff. I've also bought the kind of stuff that was $60 for an eighth but that stuff came in a little baby food jar and was handled with tweezers...I've never paid anywhere near $372 for an ounce for average bud...The average eigth from oklahoma to central Illinois to Chicago to California that I've seen is $25. Also, when taking into account the price for the average O you can't just multiply by eight. People generally don't want to by an eighth that ways 3.5 grams (28.3 grams in an ounce) I generally bought/moved out 4.5 gram eighths...Now to compensate you can, sometimes, find O's that weigh out to more than 28 grams. You also, though, have to factor in that when breaking an O into eighths you often need to remove a good deal of trunks, beans and shake... okay...I know way too much about this...*glances out the window for popping cherries* I've been out of all that for a few years now, though...Still have friends in the game so I know my figures are still pretty accurate...

I can't say that I wouldn't still be in the ranks if it weren't for the legality issues here in the US. There are plenty of people who smoke canibis sativa and are still productive citizens. Personally, I would much rather see people smoking than drinking...I have done a large ammont of research on the pros and cons of marijuana as well as the reasons for which it was initially made illegal. There are just some things you can't do as much as a father/husband. Its one thing for me to risk fines/jail time as a single guy, quite another where I am now.

Thank you for pointing out to the people here that not everyone paid that amount. There are some that go for considerably more than $372 an ounce, and some that goes for considerably less. Prices also vary by region and by law enforcement crackdown. The citing of $372 is fairly constant across multiple reports which derive their information from people who are actually involved in one way or another (underground and undercover) as well as from accounting books that go to trial. Remember that there are always people willing to pay more for 'better' quality product, whether it actually is or not.

okay, specific pricing aside, $200 for an Elbow is pure bullshit

unless you're getting tobacco, salvia, or stems & seeds

lastly, I know that you cant just go (price of 1/8 x 8 = price of ounce) but i figured it worked out to a decent approximation to show that these people were still getting this weed for real cheap
