Hmm... Let's see...

You'll find it strange, Harry Potter... That would be awesome.

Other than that, the C&C Universe as a Commander, And runner up is the Zelda Universe.

The Battletech Universe.

Even though it's in constant turmoil, it would still be fun to watch "holovids" of mechanized battles and lasers and shit.

You're all crazy fools. All of the sci-fi and fantasy universes sure sound cool, but when you're inside the Matrix, or an Eva, or an X-Wing and you're playing the part of anybody other than a major character then you are extremely likely to get killed extremely quickly.

Go with Iain M. Banks' Culture universe. It's a galaxy-spanning utopia and you get to live for four or five hundred years.

tough choice.
I guess it kinda depens if I become a major character, or just an extra.
in the latter case I'd go with some peacefull and quiet world, with good health care, and developped technology. Maybe startrek if I had it guaranteed I would not be a red-shirt ensign that dies 15 minutes into the episode.

in the former, hmm, some psi powers would be neat, maybe Babylon 5 with telepathy, or classic Star Wars with the force.
Or maybe something with lots of magic, like Slayers (my fave recently) or Wheel of Time.

sigh
so many universes, so little time.
No banner in my sig: good for people with diall up.
My comic: good for everyone.
