Goddamnit.

Post by RadicalDreamer » Sun Sep 28, 2003 1:48 am

Recently, I moved. Not a big move, just an hour away from my old town, and I lived here from when I was born to when I was 7 years old. My old school wasn't too great, and the town in general was getting on our nerves. So, when a VERY good job opportunity sprang up for my mom, we hastily made the preperations for The Move.
On the pros side, I now live in a bigger city and go to a private catholic school. Yay. Everyone's nice and kind and open. O brave new world that has such people in it.
The cons didn't dawn on me until about a week after we settled in. No skating. I now live in a subdivision (teh burbs) right next to a highway. Bye-bye independance until I get a liscence. Oh, well. I'll cope.
The big ones never got to me till now. My school loves promoting school spirit and incredible football/wrestling programs, I say "screw you", while walking away flipping them the bird. I abhore my school unifroms. I abhore my block 4 school setup. My school is full of racist fucks. I want out. Now.
I had the opportunity to go to another, public school. Started and ended later in the day, ended later. No sports. No uniforms. Emphasises the liberal arts. I'm a moron.
Luckily, my parents said that if I still hate it at the end of the semester, I get to go somewhere else. Not a moment too soon. I swear, if I hear "ghetto" pronounced "GEH-tow" one more time, I'm gonna pull a Johnny the Homicidal Maniac on my entire freshman class.

There are plenty of preps in my school, and it's a public senior high! We just finished "Fang Fest", which is basically a week where everyone wears ridiculous costumes and competes in retarded competitions against the other classes. Everyone is insane about our sports programs, and the football players (all idiot jackasses) are pretty much God-worshipped. My school may not have uniforms, but I think I understand what you're going through. And it sucks. It just plains sucks.

I remember in High School they had Homecoming Week, and for that week people dressed up in rediculas costumes for the entire week. My Junior year one of the days was called "Nerd Day" now since I'm a geek I felt this was a bit unfair, so I put on my cheerleader outfit and off to school I went. Most of the preps were pissed but it's definately one of my finest accomplishments :D

Yeah, but gravity is going to be the one handing out ownage homework, and secretly making fun of the pathetic jock students, and making fun of the system.

Gravity is going to be one of the Evil Cool teachers, who doesn't take shit from no one, and hands out an essay a week!

I wish we had more Evil Cool Teachers around here. Our teachers suck, except Mr. Murray, who lets me play with the lathe in the shop.

Haha, gravity, that's actually really cool. Now I'm thinking I want to change my major just so I can be an Evil Cool teacher!

I usually wind up with at least one really bad teacher and one really good teacher each year. This year, My science teacher rocks, but my Social Studies teacher is a bitch.
