Ahhh!!!
/me busts out flame thrower and chainsaw.
I have a 21 inch monitor at work, and even I can't handle the cinematic majesty that is Glue's post!
*In blatant disregard for suggestions to pm Glue and suggest resizing, neil instead hacks at the edges with his chainsaw while at the same time threatening Glue with his flamethrower
/me thinks better of it, put away the flame thrower, and instead huggles Glue.
*but keeps hacking at the pictures anyway.
My sig would have contained the secret of life, but I'd already clicked submit.

Our new campus center (designed by Rem Koolhaas) is the pwn.
And yes, that is a very loud CTA train running right over the roof of the building. The snazzy tube muffles the sound very well

This is where the pool tables and arcade games are now. That silver thing on the roof is the tube... the L train is just feet above this location

That's Mies Van Der Rohe's portrait on the front of the building.
Except for this building and the new dorms (designed by Helmut Jahn), our campus is butt ugly.

And here are the new dorms. Only half occupied because the school is passing the cost of construction on to the residents.

Guard glass keeps the train quiet

Ooooh, real on-campus trees.....
But don't look at the old dorms. 1960's prison-style rooms.
Thank God I was a commuter...

amlthrawn - Wow!
Glasgow Uni is shitty but here are some pics anyway

The main building

The arse end of the Uni, I really just included this for the rarity value of Glaswegians sunbathing

A huge metal T-Rex in the grounds
No I don't know why either

That really cool...the dorms look nicer than mine even though I have a kitchen..

Microsoft Word Program used to forge documents from the Presiden't Guard Recod from the 1970's.... $50.00 dollars
Early Exit Polls putting John Kerry ahead in every battleground state....
$15 million dollars
Watching Dan Rather talk to himself at 4 in the morning scrambling to count Kerry's losing electoral votes.....
Priceless.

Woah,
Rorschach. LOVE the architecture. They use a similar style over at the University of Chicago (theirs is Gothic revival... I'm sure yours is the original stuff).
And don't be fooled by the dorm pics. Those are the ones posted on the website. YOu can be sure they really don't look as nice as that.

I am a commuter, so I'll never know...

Hmm... wonder if I should take pictures of Algonquin, even though I don't really go there anymore...
Not terribly interesting though...

Glosgow uni is a beautiful university.. a year or so ago I was considering going there in the study abroad program. It's so pretty in scotland but I know that I couldn't handle the winter, and I might not want to come home.

Hey, one of my ex's wanted to go to Algonquin. I never did see pictures. I am curious, would you mind posting them?

I don't care who's right, who's wrong, or what you meant to say. Only thing I care about is the Truth. If you have it, good, share it. If not, find it. If you want to argue, do it with someone else.

Uh...I've got a 19" monitor at a meager 1600x1200 resolution (I prefer 1920x1440), and I don't even have horizontal scroll bars, much less a problem viewing the images.
