Not too familiar with much Canadian sketch comedy, just that and a few clips of Kids in the Hall... enough to recognize the name of "Scott Thompson" when it came up on Star Trek: Voyager. My first impression was indignation that they'd make him a member of an order that forbids taste and/or pleasure... but they redeemed it by making him apostatize.

Another thought on green slime, from Freakazoid:

Freakazoid {to monster}: Stop right where you are!

Monster: I am the blob! {coats Freakazoid with green slime}

Freakazoid: Right... {raises index finger, walking off} KLEENEX!
