Ni Hao... ^_^

Post by Akane » Fri Oct 17, 2003 4:02 am

Hi, name is Felicity, 23 chinese living in South East Asia. Been reading Real Life ever since Dom of Megatokyo mentioned it in his rant about a comic con. I'm a fan of Dom, i think he's one of the smartest creation since sliced bread.

I play Magic: The Gathering, a ccg. A lot of PS1 games. A few online games, Utopia being one that worth mentioning. I read and follow Megatokyo, PVP, Penny Arcade, Sinfest and of course Real Life faithfully. When I grow up I wanna be just like Rumiko Takahashi (FYI, she's the creator of Ran Ma 1/2 and now popular Inuyasha). I do my own drawings too, but I hope one day I would have the time and resources to make my own comic, online or otherwise. The online comics mentioned above are my motivations.

I hope to get along with all of you. Thanks.

PS: I think the rant about how Liz met Greg by Liz herself was one of the most romantic tales I've read. It gave me faith in my own relationship, being that my BF lives in the West and I live in the East. Thanks Liz!

Calus chucks the n00b into a chasm.

So what do you people think about pie? Maybe a little cherry/bluebarry pie?

Its always nice to see someone with a gender bias.

Senseless overuse of smileys is one of the many thing wich annoys me greatly, consider yourself warned.

I didn't get here until Piro's rant where he points to Greg's Con-comics... Which kinda bugs me because I've heard nothing but good about RLC. But, due to being swamped by web comics, I didn't even take a look. -_-

It's still very nice to meet you, fellow M:tG'er, and MegaTokyo person too. :)
I hope you enjoy your stay.

LifeDeath

Thanks LifeDeath, now if only I know what to do with it. Haha.

Invariel, it's nice to meet a fellow MTG player anytime. The sad thing being is that MTG is dying here in Brunei and I think i'm the only girl around who joined tourneys. I can tell you, my first tourney, I was scared as a country rabbit during hunting season. All the guys looked at me with a face that prints "Fresh Meat" on them. It was very intimidating but I did well and made an impression on them which was good, I guess. Hey I notice that you live in Toronto, Canada. My bf lives in Harrow, Essex, Canada and I live in Brunei Darussalam, Borneo Island. This is how far apart we are, exactly 12 hours! lol.

I'm tired of you riding me. There is an ignore feature, feel free to use it. I won't notice.
