Gaming Mini-Comics

Post by Wulfkano » Sat Nov 01, 2003 3:06 am

I'm sorry 'bout the poor quality, these comics were done just so I could kill some time. I like them, anyways, and though they at least deserve to be posted. Crits are more than welcome. Don't go to hard on me, though...

There. I'm still working on more, and any suggestions are more than welcome. Name some games I should draw. Anything. Thanks.

As far as the art goes, it is really good, but as it is now, does not fit a comic very well, try taking out some of the line-shading (either fill in the color totally via photo/paintshop, or leave it blank), and that will make the art a bit crisper and clearer. Take a look at most comics (especially B&W ones) they try to avoid unnecessary shading so the artwork looks cleaner, and is easier to distinguish.
Other than that, the drawings are very good, and I like the ideas you've come up with, keep it up!

Thanks, I'll try that. I'm not very good with shading. Quite frankly, I suck. So I just use scratch lines, and do them wherever, not putting too much effort into them. But, I'll use your advice. Thanks for the replies, guys!
