To boldly go where no anime has gone before!
OK, I think I may have gotta my Mum interested in anime (she just watched Spriggin) and what she's looking for is a series/movie that has lots of space travel, something like Star Trek. I'm not too sure of any animes like that because, well... I'm not much of a Star Trek fan, so I dunno what I'm looking for. Any recommendations?

That one with the kids and the cellphones that was all done by one guy... whatsitcalled... it's only 30 minutes though.
Legend of the Galactic Heroes!! Holy Cow does it have a lot of space travel, as well as a LOT of fleet battles. Unfortunately, you can only get it on fansub right now. Fortunately, you can at least get it off http://www.animesuki.com under "series".
Yo Mav, I'm real happy for you and Imma let you finish but Hirschoff had the best sig trends of all time.

Have you even seen the uncut of Outlaw Star? That would be a very bad choice for some parents. Outlaw Star gets very sexual almost every episode. There really arn't many space anime's. You'll probably have to look through reviews to find one.

There is something here. Something no one has seen before. Wait, someone has. No, everyone has. It's infront of us...always...

I've ONLY seen the uncut version of Outlaw Star, and it's not really worse than some of the more racy Star Trek NG episodes. I watched it with my dad. And there's plenty of space animes.... I mean, just look at how many Gundams there are.... -.-;;;
