If you're looking for a good tool to make your own art/comic a good alternative to Adobe Illustrator, check out Gimp.org. It's free and useful. Just thought I'd help anyone out that's in a financial situation such as my own. ;o) I may actually be able to start my own webcomic now.

Eh, tried gimp once, confuzzed the hell out of me.
I mostly deal with PSP7 for the time being, tho mostly to make smilies
