I grew up in a house with 4 sisters, while I'm a guy I never had to deal with them stealing my clothes, but I did have to deal with them leaving their shit around the house and borrowing my cd's and stupid shit like that. Here's what I did. For about 2 weeks, my sister would leave her dirty clothes in a pile in front of the washing machine in the hallway. After a while the pile got really huge and I would trip while walking by it on the way to the bathroom, and it made the whole hallway smell like dirty clothes, not to mention when I had friends over they would see it and think my house is full of a bunch of slobs. So one day, I took every article of clothing she had, and tied them in knots, then tied said clothes together in bigger knots, and pulled reaaaaalllllyyyy hard so that they were nice and tight, and then went into her room with this giant clothes/rope that I made, and also tied it around all the furniture in her room. It took her about a day to get everything unknotted and her clothes were super wrinkled for a while. She hasn't left any piles of clothes in the hallway since then.

Seanius.... that was fucking brilliant. I have never had to deal with these problems myself (my little sister was just mean, not actually hateful or lazy) but that solution was truly inspired.

I don't care who's right, who's wrong, or what you meant to say. Only thing I care about is the Truth. If you have it, good, share it. If not, find it. If you want to argue, do it with someone else.

Re: To my sister:
Hey Seanius! Got any pranks for a younger insubordinate brother? The little bastards' goal in life has been to bug the piss out of me ever since he could crawl. Stupid bastard thinks he can just get on my computer whenever, on my Dreamcast whenever, go into my room whenever, mess with whatever belongs to me. They're small things, really, but after 13 years it tends to *tiwtch* irritate the f**k out of you, ya know?
And oh yeah, "I Remember Larry" is a classic!

How about just password protecting your comp, including the screensaver. You can also remove a critical componet of the Dreamcast such as the connection cable and take it with you if you are not around. Seems like a good solution to me.
I still think TFH should take all her sister's crap and throw it outside then kick her out of her bed/bedroom. Sis can sleep on the couch and do her own laundry. Oh, and so what if the clothes get wet. If she had not left them lying aorund then it would not have happend.

Re: To my sister:
Ya know, It just so happens that I have a 78,000 uF cap. laying around... Only 16 V, though.
About taking the cable, I usually forget to do that, I'm alwyas in a rush in the mornings (that and I'm afraid I might lose it... WHAT? I'm paranoid!). The comp is password protected, but it's usually already on when he steals it, and I just left it on with plans to use it later... Stupid theiving bastard.
Edit:
Almost forgot: Taking the cables wouldn't matter. We have another DC laying around the house somewhere. He swears he doesn't know where it is (noone knows, apparantly), but I get the odd suspicion that he's hiding it just to be annoying. GRRRR! If he wasn't a minor, I'd take him outside and beat the livin' hoo-ha outta him! Do you know what else the stupid bastard did? He took my Wal-mart card and spent $32 off of it (not much for you, but for me...). Now the little twat refuses to pay it back!

Now, where's that capacitor...

My roommate in my first apartment loved to play the game Pirates Gold. It was a pretty simplistic game, but very fun. It used a lot of still images for the interfaces, all of which were .pcx files. As a prank, I went in once and replaced all of the .pcx files with pornographic pictures. Now, that wouldn't have necessarily detracted from the game.. but this guy was easily weirded out and a homophobe. So, when you clicked the merchant, you were met with a picture of a rather grossly overdeveloped naked bodybuilder. When you clicked on the barmaid, you were greeted with the image of a woman that.. well.... was a horse lover to the extreme.
He's fucking with your Dreamcast?
Kill him, cut him up and feed him to the dogs.
As for restricting computer access, create a shortcut to your screen saver file in the startup folder, then go into properties and turn the screen saver password on.
Now, while this method isn't perfect, and can be disabled with quick refexes and mild to moderate experience, it should, at the very least, be a temporary deterrent.

Lose the racist speech. Permanently. I don't care if you think you're making a point, or being sarcastic, or even funny. It ends now.

Ok, now my sister doesn't want to spend a few hours with me to celebrate getting my GED, I worked hard to get it, and i'm proud, and I just want to go out to eat and see a movie, i'll settle for renting a couple of movies and getting take out if she'd just spend a little time with me away from Robert. But I had to argue with her about her coming, and she is either going out with Robert of bring Robert along, and so NO he isn't coming, she can go out with him wherever she wants to but Robert isn't coming, I'm sick of that little bastard. I have better ways to celebrate than watching them two grope each other.

Reup! She's Crazy!
