Heh, and what if Santa became lactose intolerant?

But then he'd just choke to death on stale cookies.

Or you could do what Calvin's parents did, they left out a cold beer for Santa. ^.^

Don't worry, we'll be back to cynicism, sarcasm and general bitterness in no time. Enjoy the happy jolliness while it lasts though :) .

Sorry Mb, I only knew the prison one too actually. By alterinitive, I meant alternitive to the science thingy that started this thread. I guess last night I was thinking he died in a shoot out with the cops or something.

Hell if I know, stupid fever. *brains melt*

The laws of time and physics don't apply to Santa, just like they don't apply to DEATH, or Binky, or the Hogfather, or the Sandman, or ... eerrr, I think I read too many Discworld books. :)

I think it is time we stopped clouding the issue with facts... There are clearly a whole bunch of Santas, say one for each 50 houses which makes it totally possible and because each house gets the same one each year then they all believe that there is only one. If you see more than one then its the Christmas spirit getting to you...
... and God disappeared in a puff of logic...

Why so many? Just count the number of Malls, independently-located Department Stores, and Churches that hold christmas gatherings, plus the occassional Office christmas party, add one for THE BOSS that lives at the north pole, and that leaves more than enough Santas to cover everything. "Santa Claus" is simply a title that's CONFUSED for a name, like "Darth" for the Sith, or "Dungeon Master"... which also reminds me... add to that your various Gygax Slices as previously mentioned (Greater Bags of Holding, reindeer with Fly and Haste spells, etc.), and there's no question at all as to how everything can be done.

Just so you all know Calus != Claus.

Don't even suggest it or I'll eat the pony you wanted for christmas back when you were 10.
