After thinking about it for a bit, you all realize there is not really a good way to rig up a strap system for lowering the torpedoes down from the ceiling mount without some sort of block and tackle system, which you do not have time to rig up right now. However, as Draven examines the ceiling and the workings of the Torpedo system, he sees that the system apparently is fairly simple for releasing the torpedoes.
Each time the loading arm rises, it aparently depresses a button built into the ceiling which will open the rack and roll out one torpedo into the arms, and then reseal the rack. He suspects if something could be found with handles, perhaps, something onto which the torpedo could be rolled that would then be more easily manipulated than a smooth cased round torpedo. Something strong and easy to manuver, about long enough for a man, it might make the job much easier.

A stretcher rests vertically, rolled up on one side. It appears to have a heavy canvas center with a solid aluminum frame which can be locked in its open position so the stretcher doesn't colapse in on itself under weight.
A voice over the loudspeaker.
"Ready weapons quickly. 10 minutes to silent running!"

OOC: Hmm.... like I said, this RP was an experiment. I think I'm going to try to make a few MINOR changes to how it runs to see if I can speed things up, and make it more interesting. For now though, lets just try and get this particular portion over with. I need you guys to actually do things. Don't just discuss them. Claim to do them. Take actions. DO things. That will make this move along. Got it?
IC: The stretcheris locked open and carried over to be held up underneath the rack opening. An old style pressure button is obviously the one designed to release a torpedo from the rack, it is located on the ceiling.

OOC: You don't need a boost to reach the button. The ceiling is only about 7 and a half feet high at most.
IC: As you all stand ready, the gate at the end of the torpedo rack opens, and a motor whirs. The torpedoes begin moving forward until one rolls out of the rack and slams down onto the stretcher, nearly tearing it from your grips. Once it stops, though, among you all you find it is not too heavy.
The rack's gate recloses silently.
