You get only one torpedo loaded before the call for silent running goes out. You will have to wait to see if you should have been quicker about it.
The sub is eerily quiet as it enters guarded waters. On a nearby display, you can see a compiled radar/sonar readout from all of the sensors into a sort of 3D display of the surrounding ocean. It's rather shallow, only about 500 feet at the deepest point. Here and there, red markers indicate known locations of enemy sonar bouys. The sub is sure to steer as clear of those as possible, it seems, as it moves slowly and carefully through the waters, rolling a bit from side to side.
After a time the sub turns noticeably inland and slows to a stop. Some of the crew begin to pour over their keypads and touchscreens. Everybody stares intently at whatever it is they seem to be working at. IT seems every screen but the one you are watching is processing some kind of code. ANd so no screen but the one you are watching displays a little red blip beginning to move in from the very edges of sonar range.

One of the crew immedeately decks Nathan, slamming a hand over his mouth, but it appears too late. The display on the wall changes, and suddenly a very loud, low pitched sound reverberates through the ship. The red blip is now denoted as an enemy interceptor sub that has activated active sonar sweeps and has discovered you.
A voice over the main box again. IT is the captian. "Whoever spoke gets a boot broken off in their ass if we get through this! Brace for battle! We need 10 more minutes to crack the codes for the canal locks! Ready all weapons!"

Nathan lays on the ground with a sailor on top of him. Several things flow through his mind, including such things as: If I die, I won't have to live down this embarassment. If we live, I'll probably be killed. And the proverbial: I knew I would end up with a sailor on top of me if I ever had a naval-type job.
