Question for the game-savy girls

Talk about today's strip, or anything about the comic in general. You can also talk about any of the characters... but don't expect a response. They're FICTIONAL, you guys... sheesh. :)

Question for the game-savy girls

Post by Kynaes » Tue Nov 18, 2003 6:05 am

Why, oh why can't you all live closer!

Argh... Ya know, Georgia is the most backwards state I have seen. Not to diss my home town or anything but we really have nothing to do, at least not anywhere close to where I live... There's Atlanta... But it is mainly just an airport...

See, that is the cruel hand I was dealt, no one who shares my interests lives within one hundred miles!!! At least.... -As far as I know- There are some who might play games, but they see sunlight once every seven years...

Hmm... Guess I'm picky!

(My apologies that my second post on this forums is not entirely on the subject I posted it under, but as of right now it is 1:06 a.m. and the caffiene levels in my blood have dropped dangerously lo... *snore*)

Find comic shops. Play games there. When you see girls there, zero in and start chit chatting and attempting to make friends.

Kynaes: I know of at least four other forum members that live in Georgia. Three of them for sure live in the Atlanta area. And, I don't suggest pouncing on the girls in game shops. It is pretty freaky when a bunch of guys start closing in on you just because you walked into a table top gaming store.

I don't mind when people talk to me in arcades or game stores, so long as you have something interesting to say and aren't just blatantly staring at my boobs. I assume the same goes for many girls.

I definately agree, V'Landra, I don't mind at all if a guy talks to me in a game store or arcade, but when they're being overly "ooOOO look a girl!" it's just unattractive. If you want a geek girl, check arcades, comic book shops, and game stores. It's a very good bet that you can at least find a good friend, just make sure she's not picking up something for her boyfriend.

The only gaming shop in my area doesn't really have any girls come in that often. But it's really not that bad...

There is more to this area than just an aiprort. I have only been here since febuary and I have found plenty of things to do, and thats with me coming from the NY/NJ area and being used to haivng everything within walking distance. You just need to look a little harder. Oh and Circe we um....... lock the door before we advance on a girl to decrease the chance of her getting away.

Heh... That was a bit of sarcasm and a joke...

I realize that there are pleny of things to do in Atlanta... The mall of Georgia... Endless numbers of Movie theatres... Two theme-parks (I think there are only two...) Plenty of resturaunts... Unfortunately I have not had the chance to look for small stores like card shops and the like...

The only reason I was even in Atlanta was my return trip from Paris, although my sister lives there now with her husband so... I visit there to see them... But other than that..

wow.. haha there are plenty of clubs in Altanta. I used to go up there atleast twice a month from Savannah. If you need some ideas, call up the DJ/RJ at 99X and ask to speak off the record. Those guys are pretty friendly and can provide you directions to many clubs and what's good/bad about them. If you need more help, I can try, but I haven't been in the states since Early 2001.

I honestly don't see why having a gaming girl is a must. Thought...it would be kinda nice :shifty:

Maybe this is the reason why gamer girls don't look your way.

My chances are pretty slim of finding a gaming/anime girl... but that would seriously be heaven. Gregs a lucky bastard.

Here, here, girls who like anime! I'll even agree to not stare at your boobs during anime conversation!
