Tip: lose the crosshair icon. It's clever, but it'a annoying IMHO. [That's on the main page]

As for the forums. Good start for a forum, now to get some members, and content.
Edit:
Also, tell him to keep an eye on BugTraq. Web Wiz Forums isn't exactly the most secure forum in existance.

I'm having trouble with the hover in the menu. Is this supposed to be or just an Opera error?

When I hover above an item, the ':.' marks AFTER it gets lid too.

Code: Select all

try {
 this.setMood(Moods.happy);
}
catch (MoodException e) {
 this.goBackToBed();
}

Opera isn't great at the hover operations. It had issues with 'em in 7.04 IIRC. Dunno if those have been completely resolved.

I'm using 7.21, Win32 now...

I get the same thing with IE, by the way.

I suppose the set up is to let the ':.' in front of an item lit up. Or not at all... Now the ':.'s behind it lit up.

Code: Select all

try {
 this.setMood(Moods.happy);
}
catch (MoodException e) {
 this.goBackToBed();
}

Oh, man...I was just about to go off on that. Newbies seem to really "bling-bling" their website up with useless stuff. Thankfully, they seem to have made it past the cover-the-site-with-as-many-animated-gifs-as-possible phase...

No, that's just how it works due to the fact that the guy seems to have a hard time closing his tags. </a> is important sometimes, you know? :)

Looks the same way in IE 6 and Firebird 0.7 (both much better than Opera).

Begging for people to go be forum members makes me consider becoming violent, or violet, whichever comes first. I can see asking for a critique or assistance, but not blatantly begging for people to populate it? I thought people made forums as a place for a community that already exists to communicate. RealLife already had a fan base before making a forum.

Or...did I misunderstand the point of his post?

/me whispers to TheRubberBandMan and Blackjack: "You think you can kill her like a mere mortal?"
/me bursts out laughing with the Maniacal Laughter of DOOOOM.

Also, I didn't notice what you said about the hover and the ":" highlighting. I just now noticed it. Yep, that's a tag issue, I see it in my IE as well. Could always be worse... the <blink> tag could still be in use today....

Since it works 100% of the time? There are still some things I would change about it, but it's a great browser.

Heh, you are correct sir.
