Notice how she got the temper from these forums, too. I remember a nicer, more loving MissCheetah way back when.
..... ok, fine. I tease the woman and that brings out her temper. :P

Sheesh. Make me confess. /me puts his hands up.

Maybe you see female coders all the time, Wizard, and just don't know it.

I do tend to play and replay games for long periods of time. I still play Ocarina of Time for example even though it came out how many years ago and I can pretty much beat it in my sleep.
Actually, playing that game still just means that you have good taste. Now try and beat it under 8 hours; while you're at it, see if you can beat Link to the Past in under 2 hours.

See but not all girls like that one mentioned above are Lesbians or unattractive. Really they do exist. Some of them even like sci-fi books, fantasy books, cars, and motorcycles as well.

Wizard: To make it worse I also fit the stuff I just said above, and used to do animated graphics...in BASIC *grins*, I can do basic HTML, have a Bio degree and work on Radar Threat detection systems for a living.

Oh and Fixer I do NOT have a bad temper :P I RARELY even get sarcastic with people.

I don't see that many girl gamers around here, either. The closest thing I've seen to a girl gamer is my older sister, who used to play Sega Genesis a long time ago. I also got her hooked on Red Alert, but she wasn't very good at it (neither was my mom. All she would do is build a string of Tesla Coils towards the enemy base, then surround them by a wall of high-voltage doom!!!).

My sister is a gamer... She says it can be rather annoying at times because there are all these nerdy guys that are like, "You like games; I like games; we must be soulmates!"

I'm positive they exist, even though I only know one. And she lives in a different city unfortunately :(. I also got my younger sister playing the sims, she plays it far more than I do. I saw her playing Theme Hospital the other day too.

And I read in a magazine a couple of years ago that New Zealand had the highest proportion of female gamers in the world. Its probably changed, but I dunno how true it is considering I only know one, and never see them in stores. Although I don't hang around gaming stores, I only go there to buy games. :)
