Dammit! No.. No Tom. Bad! Bad doggie! No snausages for you! Now you learn to fetch me some T&A from some Asian beauties or it's dry food for the rest of the week.

No Nudity.

Awesome deaths and killings, they used very brightly colored blood. And they fiolmed in Japan. I think Grav jumps the gun sometimes and tries to become some sort of Instant Expert... I've almost decided to watch movies just because Grav is against them...

They WEREN'T able to film in Japan, the permit to film in Japan was refused. It was filmed in New Zealand. Which is still cool, because NZ is such a pretty place, and can easily look like Japan, no problem.

Grav is just concerned about the HISTORIC FATCS behind the filming, not the actual site itself. LOTS of movies are never filmed where they take place. TV shows too.

X-Files, for the most part, took place in British Columbia, not Washington DC. Hence all the rainy days and forest treks in the series. ^.^

They moved to Cali, or something like that, in later seasons. But by then Grav had pretty much stopped watching, so she didn't care. ^.^;

um they shot in Japan, its in the credits, two different cities... I can't remember their names, but watch the movie and stay for the credits. And this is a historical fiction as most movies are so it is not something that really happened. They took several events from Japanese history and made it into a story.

Though the comment about Tokyo, it is in the movie and the movie is set in 1876-77... several years after Edo changed into Tokyo.

Fenix, all you must do to win is find a link to the credits.

The only Tom Cruise movies I ever liked were Risky Bussiness and Legend, Oddly in both movies he spends a lot of time running around without pants on.

Note: Which character is the "last samurai" -- Katsumoto, or Algren? A case can be made for either answer, which suggests the nature of their relationship.
