No matter what everyone else says, I think it sounds interesting. I think I'd like to see it.

I can't tell which I'm excited about more... the movie coming out or that someone proved Grav was FUCKING WRONG.
No, I've heard something about them not being able to film in Japan...

About the location they shot at... I looked around but couldn't find anything that said that the Japanese government wouldn't let them film there. In fact, a few scenes were shot in Japan. They filmed mostly in New Zealand because Japan doesn't really have many locations left that still look like how it was in the 1800's.
*cough* :glare:

Whee, cause honestly, I'm getting tired of Grav and all the third person talking... outside of RP thread, they only people who do that have large egos, and i can't stand egomaniacal people.

Just as long as people don't start making Grav got 0wned threads like the current GodJoey crisis at Planetside's Forums (though he had it coming, the dirty cheater)

I wonder if Lith bitches and complains everytime an American War movie comes out, regarding the 'historical inaccuracy'?

Well, I saw it today, and it was good. The ending was lame, in my opinion, though.

*SPOILERS*

I think Cruise should've died, then the camera should've cut to the Emporer signing some treaty thing, then the British translator guy's voiceover or whatever.

*END SPOILER*

It was fucking awesome. Well worth seeing it in theaters. I'm going to go see it a second time on Wednesday, most likely.

If it's any indication, I haven't gone to see a movie twice in theaters since Gladiator.

It did very well in the Box Office, I believe. Debuted in first place. Of course, come December 17th, It'll get pushed down a few places... :D

Heh it may get pushed down, but the Last Samurai will have been a better movie than Return of the King. Judging from the last two translations of the book anyways.

Mother fucking awesome is all I can say.

It had a referance to Thermopylae AND ninjas.

Two thumbs up.
